    you can grow some perennials in the shade. some flowers that bloom in shade are impatiens,pansies,bleeding heart,foxgloves.
    some others that do well in semi-shade gardens are calendula,pansy,balsam,cosmos,and climbers like jasmine.you can go for container gardening in shaded areas , as soil in containers dry up faster in sunny spots. so hang in wire baskets of your favorite plants and also some pots on the ground.
    ferns do well in the shade .
    you can also simply add a patch of grass.

    Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply Raji.

    I have got some table roses in hanging pots now. They are doing well because they get good sunlight. And I am going to try getting some impatiens, pansies etc.
