July 2017 Due Date

    Hi All,

    How are you all doing? and How is it going till now..........
    Hope every one are doing good and enjoying their pregnancy...I am currently in 16th week and everything is going as normal...

    Thank God that my nausea and tired have reduced and back to normal...:)...Apart from few complications everything is going good...I am waiting for my Early anomaly scan during next week and also if needed Amniocentesis, as my NT scan and double maker test results are not very good...

    Fingers crossed...I am hoping my baby is all fine inside and i get good normal results in scan and Amniocentesis...
    This is a god blessing and God should protect it...so leaving all to him, I am little relaxed now...

    Lets make this thread active girls...we can share our pregnancy diet and do -don'ts and many more here.......:)

    This my 16th week as well.I am eating homefood only as I am staying with my parents now.I had disturbed sleep earlier but it has got better.Also I get lower back pains if I sit or lie down for a long time.A growth scan is due this week.All the best for your scan @Daffodil13

    Hi Divyarnair,

    Congratulations dear....I am exactly 16th week 4 days...When is ur Due date?...I think from scan mine is 9th July...Good to have only home made food during this time..Even though i crave for outside food, I am trying to avoid as much possible...

    Same here....I use to have disturbed sleep during nights but during afternoon i make sure to take a nap for 1 hour to compensate it...I am still in same state...
    Yes, even i started lower body pain like backpain, hip area and also down to legs. This started very recently from a week or so...I am giving either oil message or hot water bath which is helping me a lot...u can try..

    Hi all
    I am just done with my second scan today ... Everthing is normal .. Heartbeat rate is abot 135 bpm and gone thru blood work . Everything looks normal . I am currently in 13 weeks 6 days .. According to todays scan they said i am due in aug 1st and depends upon my lmp my due is july 31 . I am not sure which one is accurate.. .. I am having homefood as well .. I am also having disturbed sleep .. Can anyone say which is best position to sleep. ?Sleeping on my side for long getting pain in legs... Nowadays when i brush my teeth i getting lot of blood coming out in my gums and my gums are swollen.. Is it normal ? Anyone having this problem

    Hi everyone

    Am at 15 weeks. Am on complete bed rest as my placenta is near the cervix causing bleeding. Waiting for the scan on 20th week to check if placenta has moved up.
    Even am finding difficult to sleep at night. Am mostly awake and look at the time passing by. Early morning only am able to sleep.

    @Dimple143 sleeping on the sides is usually recommended. Usually towards your left. Even i have pain in my legs if i sleep on sides for a long time.

    @Daffodil13 am taking home food as well and craving more for spicy food. I try to take a egg a day, spinach on alternate days and a pomegranate everyday as i keep bleeding sometimes.

    What is the pregnancy menu everyone else follows? Do post :)

    I have leg cramps and sometimes pains when I lie on my side for a long time.And i have back pain when i lie on my back . I have spinach once a week only . Now I am having sprout (steamed) salad every day.Also eat few raw almonds and glass of cow milk everyday.I have also aversion to non veg these days but egg is ok. I am taking iron and calcium supplements and it caused some constipation.Doctor told to eat more dal and fiber rich food.So taking some dal with ghee everyday with rice.Did anyone feel any baby movements yet?

    Its good dear, everything is fine. Enjoy ur pregnancy period. Due date might be anything but sometime we end up delivering before Duedate or after.For my first pregnancy , they said due date as Feb 9th but I delivered my DD on Jan 13th..so it slightly change.When I googled, I found that sleeping on our left side is best position. I tried but it is not comfortable for me. I couldn't get sleep...I try tossing on bed whole night to catch up sleep...:tongueout: I try either sleeping on my back but it sometimes hurt my back but I get good sleep when I sleep on my right...When i checked further , i found sleeping is not so good on our right side...But what to do , I get sleep only when i turn to my right:BangHead:...Cant help much...
    I heard that gums problem is normal during second trimester, I haven't faced though but if it is too much and hurting check with your gynec..If needed you can visit Dentist.

    @Meenu1991 , You are good at diet. Continue following it. I wish I also follow but somehow I am unable to. First 3 months were very bad so i didn't take proper diet. I started liking food only from last 10 days but unable to take Milk so compensating it with curd & paneer. Leafy vegetables are No-No for me from beginning, I am not able to take it but balancing with other greens like beans, peas etc. Take proper rest dear. Nothing to worry. My doc also said that my placenta is very low and suggested a lot of rest but then Doc assured that mostly by growing weeks placenta will move up and nothing much to worry about it.

    @divyarnair , Good diet. Nice you have started sprouts(steamed one). I tried starting it ...but when ever I eat them, I feel acidity or Gas in stomach. I think baby movements you can experience more once you step in to 5th month. Are you first time pregnant? If so, ppl feel it little late. If second pregnancy , you might understand them little early..I don't feel movements though but feeling slight tickling sensation in my belly...nice feeling:smile:

    All, I need some help on how you are including lot of veggies & fruits in ur diet..It might help me. I am drafting down my normal diet and you can help me to make modifications.

    morning: Soaked dryfruits
    BF: idly/dosa/poha/pongal etc.
    Mid morning: 1 fruit ( either Banana/Apple/Orange). I am not liking other fruits so only limited to these 3.
    Lunch: rice+ dal/sambar/rasam+ any vegetable (which is normally made at home for others..Nothing specific to me as such)
    I dont feel hungry till 6 in evening. so evening 6, I eat either any fruit or sometime i end up eating junk food like home made snacks (sweets or spicy items).
    Night - Roti+ curry.

    Generally I am foodie and I feel hungry a lot but with this pregnancy it has totally changed. I am not feeling hungry and also not feeling to eat anything.

    Not sure why. And also I have issue with Pomegranate as well. I like eating it but when I consume, next day itself i experience constipation. Someone facing similar thing?

    Even i follow a menu similar like yours

    morning: coffee ( not able to drink plain milk, nausea feeling)

    BF: idly/dosa/pongal

    Mid morning: Apple/ pomegranate/ walnuts or badam

    Lunch: rice+sambar/rasam+ Curd + any vegetable

    evening: milk and some tiffin like poha, semiya, etc since i am Feeling most hungry in the evenings

    Night - Roti/ Dosa

    Hi all,
    My due date is also in July.
    I also have low lying placenta and was bleeding two weeks back. Doc suggested to take bed rest for a month as of now.
    I am having severe constipation now as am not at all moving. Am using syrup but I don't want to use it regularly. Can some one suggest some remedy which will help me to relieve from constipation.

    @Daffodil13,I have similar diet as yours.In between if i feel hungry i take fruits.

    @HarikaR,eat lots of fruits veggies,salad,dal etc.Check google for foods with fiber and eat them.Eat less processed food.Avoid maida items,buiscuits.
