    Hello friends,

I need your help and advise.

I have long hair,it reaches below hip level.I normally put a clip or plait it or for some parties use hair straightener and put center clip.

Now i am looking out for jobs and god willing may attend interviews. My concern is how to dress my hair for the interview.I want to look official.Any of you ladies who are currently working and having long hair, how do you wear it for work.

Pls advise me,here everybody is asking me to chop it off but i want to keep that as a last option.

Waiting for your help and tips.
    Thank you all.

    Suji,

Common chopping off  is way too much...Please please forget that option

I have seen lot many ladies in my office with long hairs..

As you said they neatly clip it or plait it.

there's nothing wrong in this dear.We have to be decent and neat thatz it.Nothing else is a matter.

Just trim or level the tips to make it more elegant.

Do update us.All the best for your career :thumbsup

A centre clip and plait would be a good option.

clip half the hair till the level of your ears and leave free the lower part. This would not help in a windy atmosphere but would look bit modern adn when you have it flaunt it :)

A mere clip of all the hair also would be great! MAke sure that you sport a dry hairdo with a conditioner.

    i work for an MNC
i have long hair below hip level
i usually plait my hair and go to office
very rarley put a clip or so
i know it takes time to plait hair daily and go but rather than chopping beautiful hair i guess its better we take some time for it

Chopping off is a BIG NOOOOO, Dear and wipe off the the dilemma also!
It's your asset (and probably others' envy :)) :thumbsup

Make it in plait or with clip as other friends said.

    Hi,

Don't chop it for heaven's sake. Many women (including me) die to have that kind of hair.

An interviewer will look for your knowledge and see if you are neatly dressed. Tie the hair back, so that you have a clean forehead and the plait it. It will give you a neat look.

Please do not chop that beautiful asset, I can give anything to have long hair.

All the best for your interview.

    regards

Thank you chinduja, sarajara, lavii, kalyani, navs and shiva for the reply.

I have decided against cutting my hair.I am still trying for a hob and shall post when i find one.

Dear shiva, i used to use this home made oil.Pls try it.1 bottle (i think 100 ml) parachut coconut oil put that in a kadai. Then add 2 tbsp mustard seeds,2 tbsp methi seeds,1 handful amla pieces (dry or fresh anyting u can find),then 2 handful fresh curry leaves.
Now keep this on stove on low flame and boil it finely. The oil will give out such gud herbal smell and it will turn green in color.Switch off and cool.Strain it in GLASS bottle. In any other container it will get fungus.Store it away from moisture.
Use this hair oil twice weekly and wash off with shampoo or shikakai which ever you use.You will get gud hair growth.

    Pls try it out.

I would suggest for a business environment in USA that you either tie up your hair in a hairdo like a French knot or to plait it elegantly. There is no reason to cut your hair but you need to send a professional non-verbal message with whatever style you use.
