hi ashwini... dont worry dear. we(priya n me) are next in line following you. everything will go fine.. I remember one of your previous posts you mentioned about perineal massage, hope you are doing that. My gynaec mentioned it in my last visit. Helps to reduce tear.I am using virgin coconut oil . may be never too late.

We cant rely on dates alone. I was given date as jan 30th in last scan.(no symptoms for me still) Since you are having mild contractions, labor will progress soon. Try home remedies too.take care n keep moving around. wishing you short n easy labor dear.

 

my check up went well...
dr said head has come down a little...
water level and heart beat are satisfactory...
she asked to come after 1 week, she also added we can wait upto my edd...

Here is my birth story..
Actually mine is a elective cesarean. . .so we planned
on 23rd jan which is a auspicious day and also
40 complete weeks..but our lil one planned to come
before tat, yeah I started to get lower abdomen
pain on sunday itself..and was feeling heavy in the pelvic
region..so next day we went to doctor for check up..
doc examined the cervix part and said its soft.
and anytime I may get labour pain (which I really
dont want to exp)...so we planned immediately to
go for operation in the evening..I was equally excited
and nervous..
Then they did all the procedures and took me to
the theatre in the wheel chair..as sugan said it was
freezing inside..they gave me spinal anesthesia
(Was not painful as I imagined)...slowly it started working
I was not able feel or move below my abdomen..
I entered at 4:30pm..immediatly they started and
at 4:44 pm my lil one came out crying..I was shivering
by tat time and was having oxygen supply..then they said
its a boy..I was not able to enjoy as am unable to
breathe due to coldness. My dh,in laws and my parents
were excitedly waiting outside the theatre as though
they show in movies...finally they were so happy to
hold baby in their arms.

We also planned to do fp(family planning) and stem cell saving
along with c-sec. .completed all the procedures
and returned back to my room..my hubby was so
excited and happy..as my first delivery was normal
he was not with me when my dd was born, but this
time he was with me completely..It took 2 hrs to come
back to normal breathing as I was still shivering.

As many say c-sec is difficult n hard to come to normal,
I didnt find difficult or painful..offcourse u do find
lil pain but pain killers relieves it..next 24hrs they
made me to walk and within 4 days I was discharged.

Hi tinygirl,

I dono the exact name. .doc said they cut and tie the tubes
and this one is done only during c-sec method...
there are many other options like laproscopy..jus chk it out
my doc advised if the birth is normal delivery,I can do
Fp after 6months later..so that u gain strength..
