J & J /Olive oil/Coconut oil for dry skin kids

    Hi,
    I would like to know which oil is best for kids below 5 yr:s.Both my kids have very dry skin,and its bad during winter .i would like to know which oil is best for massaging. J & J /Olive oil/Coconut oil or any other suggestion.i am presently using J & J AND somtimes coconut oil.If if one day also i miss oiling my kids skin esp.the younger ones, as though i have not given bath itself, looks very bad.

    hi, my son also was having dry skin and i used to use J&J so doc told me to shift to olive oil or coconut oil. Since then i am using olive oil and its working well on him.

    Hi harun,

    Trust me, during winter season coconut oil and during summer Gingelly oil is best for whole body, no doubt in that.
    I am using these oils for my kid. Before bathing, you can apply these oil and leave it for 10 mins and then wash, the result will be so good. Sorry i do not know possess much knowledge in the other type of oils.

    Olive oil is good and i use Figaro brand for my DD.

    @Mercyagin and superwoman,

    Where can i get badam oil? Is it any branded one?

    virgin coconut oil is the best for babies,or you can use freshly squeezed coconut milk on baby's skin.

    try gingelly or virgin coconut oil...don't use baby oils...my DD too has the same problem, she has very dry skin on her legs..her dr has advised me to use gingelly oil before bath and to rub coconut oil mixed with water as moisturizer after bath...
