My Doctors retrieved 60 eggs so they feared I might end up with OHSS. Fortunately, all went well. I was definitely bloated and very uncomfortable, which resulted in me being highly irritable. smallest things would set me off. But no pain per se. I was advised to drink lots of fluid and they called me everyday to check on how I am doing. They gave me a list of symptoms to look out for and told me there is no shame in going to the ER, if I thought I need to, even if I was ultimately just fine.

Keep a close eye on your symptoms and the list that your doctors give you. drink fluids and call your doctor if you have questions.
Don't stress, it helps noone. It will be all fine. Good Luck

Wow thanks for this post. Definitely calms me down. More than the injection part, i was terrified about ohss. Fluids of what sort just water or electrolyte drinks? Starting my first injection tonight. FX...

I drank mostly water, sometimes water with salt and sugar - homemade electrolyte. If I remember right, I got just one bottle of Gatorade. But ask your doctor what they recommend and do that. I am no doctor!

I was asked to measure my belly and weigh myself everyday at the same time and report any increase in either. Oh also, I had trouble breathing along with all the discomfort. This is not to scare you, just so you are aware what is possible. I was one of the rare extreme cases, so all this may not happen to you.

Good luck with everything. May God bless you with your heart's desire.

    Hi, how are you all?
I have to abort at 8 weeks of pregnancy due to no heart beats and no progress. And wrost part is that I don't have any embryo left for transfer. I have to undergo all the process again since begaining.

I don't have courage to write this here.
It's been three months now and I have moved on, thinking about future plans.

    Dear Neeti114,

I am very sorry to hear this news from you.
I had to go through the same 8th week 6 day's MC with no heartbeat .

Did the doctor do any testing on the embryo after MC ? Did you get any results on why you miscarried ?
I know you have moved on. Take a break for few more days (another 2-3 months I would say) and think about future plans if you would like to start treatment again.

    26 eggs retrieved
    12 fertilised on ICSI
Day 5 - no blastocysts and 5 are still growing. Embryologist said can update the progress only tomorrow ie Day6.

Are the Day 6 blasts as good as Day 5?
Feel so let down with no Day 5 blasts:coldsweat::coldsweat:

Very sorry to hear this... But I would urge you to maintain a positive attitude... Stop worrying about what happened and start planning for the future.. The positive side of it is that you know that pregnancy has happened and hence will happen again.. Just a matter of time before it happens... wishing you all the best and hope to see you posting good news soon

sorry to hear about your loss Neeti!
hang in there! I now easier said than done. I lost mine at 13 weeks 4 years ago, right after we announced our pregnancy to the world. I also underwent 2 Ivf retrievals and 4 transfers and this is after 6 IUIs.. I am curently 30 weeks and praying everything goes well.

    It will happen. Have faith
