IUI: Queries & suggestions!

My hugs to you and sorry to hear about your loss. Priyanka rightly said please take a break and recover completely before you plan for your next pregnancy.

Is your right tube patent? If yes you can definitely try naturally and few IUI's. There are very good chances for you to conceive. There aer quite a few ILites who conceived with just one tube. Dont loose hope. Take a break from this journey and recover physically and mentally. Do something that wil keep you happy it can be anything like going for a short vacation or pampering yourself with a beauty treatments.

Welcome to this forum.

U can take clomid upto 5-6cycles and still if it doesnt make u pregnant then generally doctors change the medication. Its absolutely safe to take it in consequetive 2 cycles. Dont worry on that.
Yes generally women ovulate on day 13-14 but even if u ovulate late, as long as your follicles are in good size and your endo is above 8mm(which is already for u) then u are good to go. Late ovulation i mean a delay of 5 days or so will not hamper your chances of conceiving as long as the egg is healthy.
Relax and dont worry. Follicles increase on an average of 1.5-2mm every day so in 2-3days u will reach 18mm and then an IUI can be done after HCG trigger.

I am so sorry for your loss dear! I can understand the pain that you had...but still i tell you not to worry.......I have read a lot of cases in IL as well as other forums and sites where people have conceived with one tube...

Generally the fertility specialists plan your cycle in such a way that they do IUI only when the side where tube is there .. you will get the follicle...

I am aware of such real case also.. You can discuss with your doctor on this... If the doc is really forcing for your IVF... Don't go for it until you yourself are mentally prepared...

I am sorry dear! What i can say that is that generally first IUIs are not successfull bcoz your body takes time to get adjusted to the medications so please don't worry! There is great hope for you!

See priyu also.. She also conceived in her 2nd IUI and same is with Mal05... so just be prepared for the next cycle!

Yes I had 3 stiches... they will be removing them on this Friday..... Yes i came to work.. i was feelign so bored after a 4 day break.....!

I am so so sorry to hear about your loss. May God give u and your husband the strength to come out of this:bowdown Trust me i have tears in my eyes. I cant even imagine....having a baby is like a dream come true for all of us here and then loosing it.......God....I have no words for u dear! After i read your post i went to the restroom and i cried (i am in office now). Dont worry dear....as the others said there are still quite chances of u getting pregnant with one tube. Afterall ovulation happens generally once on the left and once on the right side. All i can say....dont loose hope..........WE ARE ALL WITH U! One day each one of u will hold your LO soon. I am praying for u from the core of my heart.

I am so sorry for your BFN dear. Its a bad feeling.....i know....we put in so much of pain and hopes and one report just crushes it all:rant But we dont really have choice than to wait. I was devastated when my 1st IUI failed.....i wanted to scream and say "Why always ME?" But with all my friend's support here i went for my next cycle and i succeeded(touchwood). Am sure your wait wont be long.
Medically speaking.....as Nids said yes your body needs some time to adjust to any new medications. My ovulation was not proper in the 1st cycle but with the same medications i ovulated perfectly in the 2nd!:spin So many a times 1st IUI fails(though there are success stories of 1st IUIs also)......just start fresh for your next cycle. Give yourself some time to come out of the bad feeling. We are all with u dear. I will pray that next time u get a BFP:bowdown and u hold your LO very soon.

Nope i am not jumping at all...yes but i forgot to tell you all a thing..........My tubes are open....so i am relaxed...Doc might ask me to go for IUI rather than IVF bcoz of this..
