It is way, way, WAY to early for a SNOWSTORM!!!

Just sharing the bad news: I left work tonight for my 34 miles drive home. It was raining/sleeting at my work but nothing on the ground, roads were wet. Halfway home I took the normal shortcut and as I continued I hit a REAL snowstorm. The roads were so bad that I didn't know if I would make it home. No plows out since its so early. Took me one hour to go less than 20 miles. It was so amazing that one area was so untouched and the other so close was completely white and in a mess. Too close to winter......

ohhh my god....its snowing alreadyyyyy???? I thought this year would be a bit better than last year...but seems like you cant run away from the unpredictable weather here....drive safe Tina

Thanks SriVidya....it's supposed to be 50 by Sunday but today sure was a bad surprise. And area specific. This winter is supposed to be mild.....let's hope.

I have been praying really hard since this Feb..We had very bad snow storm last winter(well, I had an extra 4 days off coupled with my forced vacation and beat the snow storm on my flight out of VA-that's the only good thing). Some snowy days I just wish I had no job :spin
I am dreading the snow I have to plow-plow through this winter.

I really hope God at least answers my prayers this one winter.

That snow last year in VA area was a bad one alright. We were OK up here during that btw. Well let's hope the jet stream is mild to us this year and none of us get any bad ones. I would post a snow pic but its just too depressing.
