It has been 2 years...Still my heart beats faster on Day 1

DS is 4 year old and had already completed two Full years of Schooling (Pre Nursery and Nursery). This year he is in to LKG and today is his First day of this Academic year to school. Even though he had been to school for two years, am still anxious about his First day. He should get along with the new teachers, New Friends(Same school, but shuffled to different Sections -So no Previous years Friends ).

I was tensed when I left him in the Morning, and am just waiting for the clock to strike 12:30 (Noon) so that i can bring back home my Sweet Heart and listen to the Happenings of the Day. I would be even more happy if he gets settled soon.

Good Luck to all the Kids for the Academic year (Especially to the Tiny Tots who are making it for the First time this year) ...

Congrats for your little one. Dont worry he will adjust with new environment. Me also in the same situation. My son's school was started in April' 12.

Dear Brahan
A mothers heart keeps beating on...day one onwards. MY DS and DD are sort of in higher grades now....but still till they both get home from school I am plain restless. I reach home from work an hour or so before they arrive.....logically, there is enough time for me to have a good nap....but I just cannot. On days when I am very tired and have to doze off, I get up all startled with a jolt...did I commit a crime by dozing off???/....no....but then they are always a part of us...!!!
If i'm stuck in a meeting around their time of arrival at home....I text my DH and put him in command! Some may say we are overdoing it....but just cannot help it!

Hi brahan, all the best to your cuty pie. Even my DS is started his LKG this year, school re-opens on 11th (he had gone to pre-kg last year, but as the same case this year will have new admissions and new sections and no old friends) .. I am joining you too..
