    I agree, how my MIL has behaved with me in the initial years of my marriage and the way she behaves even now, I can never love her or treat her like my mother (which she expects and she even has the audacity to demand!). I just do my part for my DH, nothing more. Whenever I do something for her, all her bitterness fills me and I feel so negative seeing her for I know she will be nasty or nagging sometime or other over some petty issue.
    She gives me lectures that I should earn her trust and make my place in the family. I feel like telling her why doesn't she try earning respect rather than demanding it. I have no interest to earn her trust or make my place in her life! I am treating her with respect and doing my duties to her, that's enough!

    Blessed even I wont like your post. Its really really disheartening how a woman can treat another woman.....let alone all other relations.......I've read few of your other posts too.....your MIL was one horrible thing. No regrets for my words. & I am amazed at your patience level.

    Had your MIL been alive today she could have given scripts for 100's of saas bahu serials. My god she is like "Suryakantham" in old telugu movies.
    And you are really "blessed" with so much of patience and now " blessed" to not to have her any more in your life.

    DG, I really dont know! :confused2:

    But yes, since I am preggy, DH has forbidden her from creating dramas. And that ensures that she has to keep her mouth shut even if she feels like howling.

    So her howling needs are not being fulfilled. Maybe....

    But I am sure she will return in not more than a week. Her "2-3 months" definition is very different from ours.

    Its ok dear chillax.....this is the best phase in life. So relax & take out those cotton plugs& thrust them in your ears so that you & the baby stay away from the blabananda's gyan. Wish you long MIL-free days...AMEN ;-)
