Is it worth to buy gold ornaments in Malaysia?

    hi,

    We have plans to visit Malaysia shortly.
    First I would like to know Is it worth to buy gold ornaments in Malaysia?

    Also I heard about 6K, 10K, 14K, 18Karat gold ornaments and seen the rates and designs. How worth are they? Can u buy for our day today usage?
    Pl suggest the items we can buy in these categories.

    we have good shops that are mostly from india. if u have to purchase in m'sia, visit masjid india in kuala lumpur. there u can find so many famous gold smiths with good and latest designs.

    The less than 22k gold ornaments are mostly very delicate but trendy.. Good for party wear; I Doubt if its good for regular use.

    Also check the gold rates.. Because sometimes it's cheaper to buy in malaysia, not alwas
