Thanks dear Mindian for replying... I was surprised to see that you have replied, as it is not in the snippets..

YES, this is what I should be doing, and I know that.. but dont know 'how' to do it.. I repeated this several times after seeing your post "i need not be busy always.." - actually in order to avoid feeling lonely, i do almost twice my work load, take up extra work everywhere.. sometimes this is also pressurizing..

yeah.. and we shall meet up soon..

    Preethi,

If you are happy with and within yourself, you can feel at home anywhere on this planet. You do not need external stimuli to feel happy. Your worth is not dependent on any other person but yourself. If you can bring this change in your mind set, you will see that you do not feel lonely.

I agree as well as disagree. We have been brought up in a culture where it is nurturing. Parents shower lots of love and affection on the kids. We have relatives, friends with whom we have lived our childhood life, played with them, have had happy memories etc. Then when its time for work, we move to other parts of the country or the world where work takes us.

It is natural to feel lonely. Its a human sentiment. But I also agree that if you are happy and within yourself, you can feel anywhere at home. But being happy and being lonely are two different things. I agree that you don't need any encouragement to be happy. But ofcourse when we are used to all the love and affection, then its kind of hard. We are used to a certain routine in our life and when that routine gets disturbed, its time to feel lonely.

yes, I agree with you azalea..I'm happy with myself..:) But the contadiction is I'm always one who spends time with family and friends... and this atmosphere where I tend to spend most of my time alone just makes me pissed off at times.. :hide:

yes, as you say, i need to change my mindset.. :thumbsup

    Just read somewhere

until being strong is the only choice that you have"
