    Drinking without his knowledge and having arguments about it - yes.
    Going on about friend who lives abroad and all the other masalas including three way calling her/mom etc sounds really fishy. The friend is definitely upto no good!

    She got drunk once in a reunion. Not in home.
    But he is suspecting her of having affairs with a man in the house.. When kids grow, they understand, dont they get affected
    Actually she should be the one suspecting.
    He is telling that her friend is an ideal wife.

    It has been an year now, why you have not exposed her behaviour to her husband? Many ils have suggested the same. Just call her husband and ask in angry tone what secret discussions his wife has got to do with your hubby. Tell him she is spoiling your family life, and is in constant touch with your husband inspite of your warnings. Just blast on him. He will take care of her from then on.

    Is your other friend aware of these issues? Do you think making him talk directly to your husband,with all people involved will solve the misunderstanding.
