    Hi,
Provided the job is assured and from a reputed organisation the amount provided is comfortable fo saving also.

Since accomadation is provided to you, you need to just share a small part on account of electric and water bills. Food is easily available in small mess and the charges are less.

Savings amount depends on your skills becos this place lures a lot everyone to spend- garments, electronics, sightseeing......so if initially you are able to control on your purchases savings can be done easily.

    Dear Karthik,
Please check the credibility of the company as the salary seems too low. You are mentioning about bachelor accomodation - you need to check if this will be separate room for yourself or you have to share the room with others.
If you take this offer, you may be able to save about Dhs 1500 if you plan well.
Please let us know if you have any further queries.

    Regards
    USHA

    Dear Karthick,
The salary (Dhs.3200) you mentioned is little lower for your designation (IT Admin). Now check for these things....
    1. Visit the company's website and you'll get a clear picture of the establishment.
    2. Find out whether the accomodation is near your office.
    3. Make sure they provide transportation to office. If not you will have to spend for taxi, local bus or metro.
    4. Enquire your employer about the attestation of your certificates.
    5. Enquire about the type of visa they are providing to you.

Anyway the accomodation is given by the company, so i hope you can save around Dhs.2000
You can jump for a better remuneration after completing the contract. If the company is good and give you increment for your performance....then fine.
    Good luck to you.

    Karthik,

I am here to discuss frankly my views.

The charm in the gulf has reduced & especially in Dubai after the recession.

In the IT Sector in general, there isn't many developments other than maintaining the legacy & little modern technology in the Small & Medium businesses.

So for Career development / progression, I do not see ample scope.

If you get into multi-nationals, that's adifferent story.

Looking at the salary, I think it should be a small business. It's difficult to get out these guys.

Have your professional certifications attested. It all depends on the visa you land in.

If it is not a listed profession as per the labour ministry, hopping jobs is difficult.

An IT Administrator in India with 3-5 years should be earning more than 50+, but taxable ofcourse - plusses are with family, career progression, technological advancements, etc.

If you are in dire need of this job, then come. Like other friends said you can save a minimum of 1,500 / month with lots of compromises.

    Choice is yours.
