Is Dolly Jain's Saree Slightly Above Ground, Or It Is Touching The Floor

I hope to wear sarees in the summer. I commute to work, walking on streets, taking stairs up and down to public transportation.

I understand saree length cannot be too high. i was hoping to wear just below the ankles, but not touching the ground.

What can you comment about how Dolly Jain is draping this saree. It seems it is off the ground.

 

Ah hence the slight lift off the ground.

I suppose one can achieve similar effect with flats. I couldn't wear heels → esp. On a commute!
