Irregular Periods Delayed Pregnancy

Before marriage when I used to be in India, my periods were like ok and I used to miss once or twice a year. I didn’t used to get more or less exact same date every month but there used to be usually 1 week or so delay.

But after marriage, I came to US and irregularity increased (reasons could be place change, weather and lifestyle change). Went for doctor check up, Doc prescribed prenatal tablets. Then I conceived with my 1st pregnancy (it took more time comparatively from others and we were worried).

After pregnancy periods became even more irregular, now I get my periods once in 3-4 months. It’s been more than 5 years I had my 1st kid. We have been more or less actively trying since 3 years but I’m not conceiving. I’m going for annual checkup with my gynecologist, she says everything normal. We also did blood test, everything got normal. Suggested to lose weight, managed to lose 10 pounds but not reached pre preg weight. I’m not sure what is the issue. Did anyone travelled in the same boat. Please share your experiences and suggestions.

 

Did anyone else had late pregnancies after 1st one. Any changes in periods frequency after having 1st baby?
