Cotton is a very cool and light fabric. Only thing is it tends to crease, hence it requires ironing.

You can avoid ironing your cotton nightwear of you are not very particular, but I am sure, you will like to wear cotton dresses that are crisp and ironed well.

I iron a dress everytime I wear it as it does not look good with creases.

Yes, cotton requires ironing. Instead why don;t you switch over to synthetic which may not require much ironing.

I always dry my cottons on a hanger, which to some extent helps to reduce the creases. An aunt of my DH also doe not like the task of ironing. She folds her clothes very neatly and always keeps them under her mattress or sofa cushions and by the time she wants to wear it the next time, they are as good as ironed!
Pure cotton tends to crease. You could try fabrics with cotton mix instead. Thay are cool too.

Cotton is a light but not wrinkle free fabric. Every time when we wear cotton cloth, some wrinkles occurred on that and make it dirty. With Ironing, Cotton fabric looks good and shiny.
