Hi, Wanted to come in and write before the opening, about a expected boost in the sensex following the saturdays economy's stimulus package as the RBI put. but did not want to raise hopes, as for the past few months, the bear does not pave way to the bull..and these small measures look insufficient to move it from the course. so what is the package... the package announced on saturday was... a 10-point 320 bn package of which infrastructure spending to the tune of RS 200 bn over the next four months is on the cards. Central valued added tax has been cut by 4% across the board, other than petroleum products. Labour intensive exports such as textiles will receive sops. Small scale industries will be eligible for funding without collateral to the tune of Rs 10 m per entity. This push though has not been hugely appreciated, looks like a measure in the right direction and will also make other look at giving more boost..namely the housing loans may attract reduction of interest rates from atleast public sector banks... So right now the markets have opened on a positive note... infrastructure and re scrips like unitech and dlf look +. markets are trading at bse 9278 up by 312 points and nse at 2814 up by 99... Let us wait and watch, as the markets are sure to react to the election results that are going to be announced today....
Hello all, Iam new to IL and find this thread interesting,as i have no one here to share some trading tips,my husband and me decide by ourselves mostly with little research over cnbc and icici.and we are in the huge losses as far as our investments in stockmarket ,which we invested before this sensex turmoil.we kept on holding them,saying "this is too much we cant sell it now"and now we re deep down Drowning. Girls?we´re sure that it will be back to foam in 2 years(quite a long period compared to our investments earlier) Do u think the same? I am not sure if this link(below) will help you immediately, but try it. I am planning to add more such stuff, its just that i began it and will take some time to enter all details... But the best way is to walk in to ICICI bank branch and ask them for opening an ICICI direct account. They will tell you all.. they also have free training sessions too which will be useful. But this is not ur only choice there are many other players like sharekhan, geojit, hdfc, kotak etc.. if you have an account in one of these banks do walk in they would be glad to help you..
