Advice on selling scrap gold in US? Where can I sell some scrap gold and silver in US? If I go to a jeweller at a mall can I sell it there? I have 1 small gold pendant with diamonds in it (I do not know the value of the diamonds, dont know whether they are real or fake, they shine very well), also I have two toe rings of pure silver, they not a pair but different. Do jewellers buy such small amount of gold, silver. I have no means to determine the purity and value of the scrap gold, silver. Should I trust whatever estimate I am given. Tips and advice needed. Gold is very good investment when compared to stock and forex. If you have idea of investing in Gold, please buy Gold as bullion or coin and not as Jewelry. The Jewelry Gold is not pure Gold as it contains copper and it cannot be exchanged with current market rate. But Gold bullion or coin is pure gold and it can be exchanged with current market rate.
