Does it make sense to work for just 6 months and then take a break again for women who are on a career break? My sister is going from US to work in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:smarttags" /><st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">India</st1lace></st1:country-region>(she got a job offer) just for 5-6 months. This is because she is on h1b here but unable to find jobs and looks like that visa will get cancelled. This means she will be on dependent status and her career will get a big gap(already2 yrs). Now does it make sense for her to take up this offer and travel to <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">india</st1lace></st1:country-region> just to work 6 months and then resign and come back to her family here? Please give your opinions. We are confused on what to do.
Hi Neha, This doesnt make sense. Just for 6 months job, she would need to relocate and stay away from family. And looks like this job is not permanent too.
