    Interesting. I happened to read value of cars bought then and it’s today’s resale value vs value now of gold bought then instead of car.

    The value moneys in Fds with banks erodes much faster now as the prevailing interest rate not even cover the current inflation. Yet banks deposits from public increased several fold!
