Interested in Learning Java and / or Oracle PL/SQL

Dear Friends,

I am living here in sunnyvale for about a year and a half and I would like to start learning Java / Oracle PL SQL :coffee. So, I thought it would be great to have a study partner :cheers who s like me, to start from scratch or knowing some basics wud be great. :thumbsup.

This is Souji, I had studied Java and Oracle in my B.Tech after that I joined in MBA. I had some basics on those. If you are interested still we can be study partners and work the things out. Hi

I like to join as a study partner with u. Actually I am in India, will it work out!

I did my MCA in 2002, worked as Managing Editor in a typesetting house. Is it right for me to go for JAVA or any other IT course now. the main thing is I am nearing my 40s. Could I get entry in IT field at this age. I am ready to learn anything and salary is also not a constraint, I just need a entry in the field!

Could anybody please advice on this?

And also I am in vizag now. Is this place has opportunities?

Wud like to ask if ur full name is Soujanya??
I started preparing with the book "Head First Java" and I felt little lazy to study alone. Tat s the main reason. Nice to get reply from u and get to know tat u know the basics. Wonderful.:thumbsup

So I wud be really happy to have u as a partner, however it is possible to study by our own.

Hi all.. I learnt Java in college and Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL recently for work and was acting as a IT Trainer for people working in corporate..

Hai Jannu,

i also want to join u as a study partner.I have some basic knowledge of core java.i used to wrok in IT field in india 9 years back on VB and little bit on Oracle forms.Right now i am very serious about preparing for Java Certification. i am actually looking for a study partner.

My plan is to spend about one month on " Head First Java" to cover all the core java topics. Then about 2 months for Java Certification.
