Inlaws now hinting at us returning to India

The irony of all this is, DH and I never wanted to go abroad at all. They drove us mad and nearly broke our marriage with their insecurity. We went abroad to salvage whatever was left out in our relationship. We ran away to the US. It was such a horrible time. Very sad, lonely and low point in my life. I nearly attempted suicide many times. Didnt have the courage.

Now all this forgotten with one fake smile and they want us to come back and fill their empty nest. They never needed us as long as SIL was with them!
