Injustice to parents or Kids ?

When people have to leave a safe-for-women country to go back to India, this is one more of the problems of adjustments to the new life. However, if you are a permanent resident or a citizen of a "safe" country, then you have a problem. Tell the grandparents all about your experiences in whatever foreign country you live in, your fears of india and about your problem. They would probably tell you to do what is the right thing for your family and your/their children/grandkids.
