Information on Plano

    Dear All

    My Name is Latha Adiki and we are moving to USA from UK/INDIA in Oct 2015. Need help in settling down in Plano ( think this is place based on our research ) Other suggestions are welcome.

    1. do we get a service apartment in Plano close by to all facilities before finding a house
    2. I have two kids - elder one needs to go into class 10
    Younger one - is 10 years need to go into 5th class
    Need help in identifying schools

    3. which is the best area to stay in Plano - with all facilities near by Until we get a car and licence

    4. Is the International driving permit of India valid ?

    5. How easy is to get admissions in schools - does this depend on age or previous records

    6. what about public transport ? we are used to public transport in UK
    though we had a car ( ease of travel )

    7. What is the initial amount that we need to bring to settle down there. ?
