Nagaraj and Sukumar hailed from villages not far from each other and have risen to power through various acts in which there were many things common. From little places, they soon had regional posts for the opposite parties and were known to be ruthless. In a tale that would ashen any cinema that was taken yet on the political genre, they ended up as ministers of the same party [one switched party when seeing a minor opportunity to go a level up]. Now known to be educational minister and public works minister for the state, they amassed a wealth so huge that it would take months to calculate them.

Being placed in powerful portfolios, their power game started years back. One thing they did not do, was to stop doing those acts that gave them recognition and each had a network of goons in their areas. Both of them saw the fortune that lied in the old and ignored temple idols. Each had their fare chances before coming to power and saw the value in them. They had their own men in trafficking the statues out of the country as well as dealing with the underground market. It is here that they first clashed and it soon became a war. Beyond a point, both parties realized that they could get much if they came to an agreement and did so. This temple changed all that. Neither knew what could be the value of the fortune and did not want to give up.

Each wanted to act when there was a conclusion of some sort about the existence of a fortune in the first place and each sent their representative to figure that out. Thats how Aravind and Prasad came there. Now that both knew that there was a definite chance of a fortune, they wanted to cash in the opportunity. With election not more than a year away, they wanted to act quicker. Thats how both Aravind and Prasad came to that five star hotel in that place that was between Chennai and the village. They were surprised seeing each other there, but didn't reveal that much. And were pushed more when seeing their bosses together in the same room, when ushered in. After the introduction part, they all discussed on how to get their plans going. Each minister had a strategy given by their brainy chaps and discussed more on whether that could work out.

"If my assumption is right, the temple fortune would be worth several hundred crores!", Nagaraj said. Sukumar licked his lips and let out a low whistle. "And it could even be more if we could get those two lingas, the gold and the red one!", added Prasad. "I am afraid, we cannot talk numbers until we see them!", Aravind said cautiously. "Right! Let us find it out quick then!", Sukumar said and they discussed at length to devise a plan. "Seems good to me!", Nagaraj said, appreciating the critical elements that came from all of them. "Any questions?", he asked. "When can we execute this?", asked Sukumar. "How about this full moon day, 45 days from now?", suggested Prasad.

"Full moon day? Are you nuts? This has to happen in the night and ....", hissed Aravind. "Yes, it will. Because there will be nobody active there that night!", added Nagaraj with a smile. As he explained the reason, the other two appreciated them. "Right! Lets start then! What are we waiting for?", Prasad ended that conversation. They then decided to meet once a week to discuss further and proceed with the plan. "If only we could open that door!", said Prasad, mentioning the door under the navagrahas. "Let me see it tonight!", Aravind said.

Banu and Siva had decided to try the key on that door the same night!
