I have found out a simple and inexpensive idea to add a variety of flowers to my garden. I dry the flowers in the flower bouquets I receive and the dried seeds produce healthy lovely plants. My MIL collected flowers and has many different coloured chrysanthemums in her garden.
Wow! I usually throw them in compost pot. Never thought of this way of using those flowers. Will definitely give it a try.
Good idea. can you please let us know which flowers are you planning because not all flowering plants come up this way. the one variety that i know which gets reproduced like this is marigold please add in the list of flowers
Another in expensive idea is to make small plants from cutting ...I usually grow them in small used cans or juice boxes. If I like a plant in someone's house that can be grown from cutting ...I usually gift them the cuttings from my plants and request for a cutting from theirs.
hello yellowmango and han, I am a beginner in gardening.. can you suggest few plants that can be grown from their cuttings? also if you could elaborate on how to grow them from the bouquets?
