    What are you afraid of?
    What is it ailing you?
    You might have had enough
    May be, it isn't new.

Great fame may last a while.
    Name may vanish sooner.
    Short lived is any style
    Nothing can stay longer!

If you are down then fine!
    There's nothing worse than that.
    Don't give up! Rise again!
    Success is hard to get!

Where did you go wrong? When?
    Seek answers for these ones.
    Mend self and try again.
Few tries and you will win!

    Nothing can stop you for
    Long enough. Now get up!
The road is long and far!
Vow that you will not stop!

Beautiful verse! Such introspection is essential to stay rooted to our avowed goal.hiii
Reminds me of Robert Frost's lines:
"The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep."

It reminds me more of few men & women from political arena lost in recent Lok Sabha election. Annamalai, Smrithi Irani and Madhavi Latha names comes to mind. Their debacle was most unexpected.
Your poem probably is befitting to motivate these candidates to spring up again . I enjoy reading the poem for its richness and choice of words used.
    God Bless.

Your quote of RF here , reminds late PM Jawaharlal Nehru who kept this written-stanza-prism at his work table .

    RGS,

Great words of wisdom! When one is left standing alone after a defeat is a great time to find the flaws and restart the journey. The determination to not give up is sweater than the success itself! It is not how many times that one tried that matters but how determined one is that is invaluable!

Thanks @Thyagarajan, for your feedback. I pen these verses for myself generally.
Besides, I tried to keep it simple which turns out to be a challenge. Each line in this poem has six syllables. The other one "Elite", had five in each line. Now with "--rainbow--", its seven. -rgs
