    This is a very good idea..Its very common to see such craft sales abroad but I think something could also be started in Chennai ??

    True. This is not entirely a new concept to chennai too. There are mant SHG's that do such things. What we can do is organise a ladies mela kinds, get all stuff form ladies, make sure they are unique and pretty, put a stall along with some fodo around. WOuld be a great day.And also give a new lease of life, and some money to us!

    Lets not get too business minded on this. IL is a place for people to share and help each other. Why not organise a mela kind of thing, and make people of different walks come together?

    It can be a one day mela, where we can put up stalls and also teach things free of cost, probably couple it up with some social welfare activities...I am inspired by the IL meet in orphanage!!
