I am new here and landed on this while searching. I am also from Chennai, but currently in NJ. planning a move to Houston area, maybe the woodlands. What are your reviews for the place? GOod schools? Decent Indian community? Is the hindu temple v active? TIA...

Woodlands is a very nice place. Schools are good. The Hindu temple is very active and has lot of things on going for both elders and kids. Well when compared to places like Sugar land, Katy the Indian community is very small.

 

Thanks a lot for the info Lavanya30. I read someone mention that the Indian stores are not closeby? Also would you know if there would be any carnatic music classes for kids around thr? Thanks again in advance
