    Nice to hear from you!!! How exciting:clap, When I first found this site I thought it was mainly for Indian ladies that have moved to the US & UK. But now that you have replied its cool to know that even ladies in NZ are using this site.

    So how did you find this site? Well I was looking for cooking ideas and came across this site, so I decided to join.

    Also how are you liking it in NZ???

    Thanks Kelly - I got to know of this site through my search for south Indian vegetarian recipes especially for Diwali.

    This is the first time i have joined in a cyberspace forum like this!! but fine if pretty interesting. And am glad to see others also responding to your thread and joining in.

    Hey ladies,

    Well I'm a receptionist in the education industry, have been doing this for about a year now, I really like it, the people in my department are really great :party, my department is multi cultural so it really makes a diffirence, its not only just work, we get to laugh & joke, and best of all we have moring tea for someobys birthday, or when people are leaving hte company for good.

    Isint it funny, I have noticed other members have found this site by looking for recipies too.

    So what fo you do Nirmala?

    Hi Kelly and Simrananand,

    I am a social worker and I work for the Government. I work with Young Offenders and I love my job. I have been in this job since I came to New Zealand 8 years ago and find the job fascinating and very challenging.

    My other interests are - working in the community supporting other women from the refugee/ migrant women and children and have co-founded an organisation to do this.

    I love Indian Music - both classical and semi classical and we have a group which meets regularly to practice.:party

    What are your hobbies/interests/work area Simrananand and Kelly?

    We will be moving shortly to auckland NZ, since I am new to the place I would appreciate if I get good guidance regarding the life in NZ other useful links, social circles, grocery stores, and where to shop economically and the area where good decile schools are located and good neighbourhood.

    We are planning a holiday to AUS & NZ...can you let be know the best time to visit..places to see and whether we should take a guided tour from India or can we go around on our own by doing prior bookings.
