Indians in Lansing, Michigan Area - Please Introduce Yourself

i am slowly starting to like the city ! still i miss the hustle and bustle of Chennai, Tamilnadu and Bangalore, Karnataka - i belong to those places

i am glad it is now sunny ! i just go for rounds since hubby comes late from office sometimes on weekdays and weekends we go out

do you all people meet regularly - i mean indians from lansing

 

That's nice! I am from Delhi, moved to Lansing from New York after getting married.

I have been really interested in getting to know and meeting the Lansing ladies on this forum, but no luck so far. Do you live close to the MSU area or near the temple?

West Lansing. Don't know if you've had the chance to come to this side of town yet.

Have you met other Indian families in Lansing? None of my husband's friends are married so I haven't met any ladies here so far. :-(

 

I have not come to that part of Lansing. i met one indian lady who's son was staying in the apartment. she has gone back to her home in doha. so far no other indian families i met. however i heard from my husband that many indian families are in west lansing near walmart.

It's a group called Mid-Michigan Food Club. They're having a barbecue and picnic by the lake. You can get all the details on the website. This is the first event that hubby and I are going to. We joined it just so we can meet more people in the area.
