    Hi,
I am Sonia. I am moving coming from chennai India to Essex, UK with my husband.
I am having trouble finding accommodation.
Can someone help me in finding accommodation where there is majority of Indian women live. Because I know I would feel very lonely leaving my family in India. Moreover I am nervous to live in a foreign place. So I need a good place with more Indian crowd.
    Thanks,
    Sonia

    Hi Sindhu,

I am Anu, I have lived here in the UK all my life as I was born and bought up here. Unfortunately for those of you finding UK an unsociable place is because you guys are staying in the wrong parts of the country.

Most of the social life is down London side. I live in Berkshire place called Langley which is border from London county, and only 5 miles from London Heathrow Airport.

Lets get to know each other and maybe one day we can meet up and I can show you around!!!

    Get in touch

    Regards

    Anu

    Hi Anu:

    Welcome to Indusladies!

So have you been in the London area all your life? I think London is a fabulous city to live in.

And now, having lived in the UK and come back to India - with wisdom gathered over years :) - I come to conclusion that Milton Keynes was not exactly a boring place - it is just that it takes time to know people, have your own circle of friends - it doesn't happen overnight - infact it takes years (for my kind). And more so in a different land since there is more learning involved - culture, etc.

It is very nice of you to extend a hand of friendship. Would love to meet you. I'm not sure I will be in the UK in the near future, so if you have any plans of coming to India, we can surely meet here :). Till then, however, we will keep meeting in Indusladies!

    Sindhu
