    hello everyone, i get offer 6000/- Riyal as structural engineer at Khamis Mushay, near to Abha (Saudi Arabiya). i have some query.
    1. it's sufficient offcer for live there?
    2. can it's good to live with family after 3 month.
    3. we will get good indian food evryone, we r true veg persons.
    4. it's better place to enjoy there like Our India.

    Please give me some idea to take decision.

    Hi All,

    myself Amit , I landed at Al Khobar just a week ago will be working for one of Indian IT giant in this region.
    One week seems more than a year in this place. Not sure of what all to explore in this city.
    Secondly being the first employee of my org. in this city :( its little boring too
    i am staying at one of appartments at Hotel Al -Nimaran, just near by to our office here.
    Would be intersted in getting in touch with indian over this city .. i belive its frnds and ppl around that make city worth living.
    Secondly, i seek suggestion on weather to keep staying at hotel apartments or look for accomodation at compounds, I am single so dosent need much bigger accomodation.
    any suggesiton on good compounds and there rate would be grt

    Looking Forward to get in touch with all of you.

    Hi all,

    I am a north indian from delhi and rite now in US. From last 4 yrs we are travelling in europe and now it seems its time for Saudi. My husband got an offer in Saudi in Jeddah in King Abdullah University with quite an attractive package.in IT dept We hadnot said yes till now as we are very concerned abt the lifestyle as for long we are staying in europe. following are my concerns -

    Life of woman ??? Is all the restrictions are unbearable ? How are you people adjusting to that ?

    Is there is discrimation for Indian passport holders with Americans and Saundi ?

    IS living in Saudi with family is challenging ?

    Rest like people are giving us some weird feedback too like indians are not treated properly you get frustated after few days.

    And hows the education level for children as it same as india ?

    WE are totally confused what to do. Like others we are also thinking to spend 2-3 yrs and save some money for India.

    Please help me in taking decision.

    Hi everyone,

    Iam madhu staying in khobar from 2yrs and very happy to b here tooo.

    Hi cute, hahah after seeing ur post i can estimate what people has told you and how scared you are to come to saudi.AS this is all no true , there is no discrimination till now and iam basically from AP and i stayed in delhi for 7yrs too. so this climate is similar to delhi, the schools are very gud my both kids are studying in IIS khobar.with out any fear you can comedown to saudi. as only restriction here is all the females have to wear parda when we go out and abt jobs for females we can work as teachers, nurses, doc etc. so please dont care to all those talks this is my sincere advise to be said.
