Dear SindhuRao, Thankyou so much for the warm Welcome... Iam a member of indusladies since dec 2006. But Iam not very active in the forums.. sorry abt that... but now really trying to be active in sending the responses... I always check the tips from all friends and the senior ilites. I am very much thankful to the founders of Indusladies and all the members. Thankyou Once again. Regards Devi
HI Devi: That was a lovely response to the welcome. So should I say, you are a senior member but an active junior member Yes, that happens sometimes, you become an active member after a phase of inactivity. And since you are working, it is understandable. You have lived in Gothenburg for 2.5 years, so you must be loving it now. There are always few things you never get used to, though. Took me 6 months to get used to the idea of living in the UK and now after over 2 years of living here, I can find reasons why I should stay back. With warm wishes again Sindhu
Exactly Sindhu... thanks for understanding... Yes...i luv to stay in gothenburg... sweden is one of the beautiful country and the people here are comparitively humble and polite. I like snow but i hate the darkness...getting dark at 3.30 -4.00 in the evening is really depressing... i think even you face the same problem in london... and one more thing which i dont like is in gothenburg we dont get indian veggies like u do in london or denmark... Now a days i am sick of cooking the same kind of food... especially to carry the lunch box is a big headache... so i visit all the cooking forums but select a very few items...i donno why.. i think iam very choosy.... my hubby say so...i just hate my way of cooking but somehow my husband luvs my food...so am continuing the same other than that life is just going as usual... So sindhu thats all for now...hope i didnt bore u much... but a lil... Revert me back... warm regards Devi
Hello Sridevi I am lakshmi. I am also from Andhra pradesh. One of my friends is moving to Gothenburg by January next year. She is worrying if there are any Indians there with whom she can be friends with and worried abt the life there, availability of indian grocieries and veggies. My friend is a maharastrian and she has a girl of 8 years and they have to find the apt school there. do they have to International school? How's the communication there? can they talk in english? One thing I don't like abt Geneva is the communication.... most of the people can't talk in english... french everywhere. Now we are going thru the daylight saving and sun sets here only after 8... exactly opp to ur place as of now. think I am flooding u with many questions... but my friends laptop got spoiled and she wants as much info as possible. nenu telugu ne. I am from Guntur in Andhra Pradesh... we have moved here to Geneva for my husbands project work and I have a girl, 6 years old. warm regards lakshmi.
