Hi I am a occasional visitor of indus ladies site.But i miss it very badly.I need a favour from dubai indus ladies. Dear Sudarshini, Re: your query, I have given you my personal opinion, as I would do to a personal friend. You have told that your friend is coming. Now, is your friend single/ married/ married with kids? Housing: This is the biggest nightmare in Dubai at the moment. A reasonably good house costs about AED 3000 to AED 4000 per month even for 1-bedroom. It is common practice for single people to live in sharing accommodation. Again, medical facilities and education is quite expensive. However, some companies cover housing, education and medical insurance as part of salary package. Re: food, that is one commodity available in abundance. There are many many restaurants serving idly, dosa, south indian & north indian food. Executive lunch packs are also available. As regards the decision whether to leave a job in India and come here, I feel, is striclty personal. Please see if my yard sticks given above help you. Regards USHA
