Indian Gynaecologist in Dubai

NO idea about the doctor you have mentioned. I am consulting Dr.Babita Shetty currently.She is competent (but a bit busy though). Heard that dr,praveena sharaf is also good. both are in NMC ,Dubai(Al Nahda)

I also made my mind to refer NMC Speciality Hospital,Al Nahda....anyone can suggest good dr. out of this two: Dr Babita Shetty n Dr Praveena Sharaff.,,whom to refer for consultation n delivery..

I consulted Dr.Babita Shetty for my pregnancy and delivery (my baby was born in Nov,2015). She is very capable. Initially she came across as a bit aloof. In the sense, you need to prod her and ask your queries and concerns. She will give you answers. She wont spend time chit chatting and appointments with her usually lasted no more than 10-15 mnts for me. But in the labour room ,she was a different person.Very friendly and warm.encouraging and supporting. She knows her job and is very confident too. She prefers normal ,natural deliveries and wont perform C-section until it's required. The labour room staff is also very good. My delivery experience at NMC was great and I would definitely go to Dr.Babita if i were to get pregnant again. Dr.Praveena is also good and has lot of patients. But I dont have any personal experience with her.

sorry for replying so late. Came across it only now. I found the post natal facilities to be good. there is a nursery and nurses are available on call 24/7 . Every time I had any problem (ex. feeding the baby ), I would make a call to the nursery and a nurse would immediately come & check ,even if its 2 am. There are options for private and semi private rooms. You can opt for one depending on the convenience. The doctors checked me on both days that I was in the hospital. (I had normal delivery.Baby was born in the evening. I was at the hospital that day and the next. I was discharged at noon of the 3rd day after I delivered). The neo natal doc also checked my baby on both the days I was at the hospital. a nurse came and briefed me on breast feeding , baby care and other post natal stuff. I used to note down all my queries and ask my doc. Got answers to all of them.

PS not sure how the c-section experience will be
