Indian community in these apartments ( Bay area, ca)

Hi Sarang,

there re are no washer/ dryer facility in 1bhk apartments here. But u can always rent one if u need though.
laundry facility is available for 2Bhk.
Utility charges are more here 80 - 120$ yes. But it's common in Bay Area unfortunely.
Water/ sewage/ hot water/ electricity/ garbage disposal etc.. Everything gets charged separately.

welcome to USA.
Marina playa is good apartments. It's safe too. It's nearby to Apple Sunnyvale office.
But if your husband works for Cupertino office, apartments in Cupertino are better.

child play area is almost available in every premium priced apartments. Don't worry about it. Just look for apartments which is nearby to ur hubby's office so that he can come home for lunch & reach early evenings. Child can he fun with parents only.

Yeah.. thats the whole disadv in Bay area.. Living is all costly.
Its the same i guess everywhere here. Utility bill & rent eats up ur salary.
Yes hot water, garbage bill, sewage etc add upto 150-180 as utility expenses.

 

my current contract with Marina Playa is over. So i too am searching fr new Apartments back again. Do let me know where u found apartment now
