    Indian Americans-Majority matters!

The presidential election will take place on November 3, 2020, to elect the next President. As per a survey, 72% of Indian Americans are likely to vote for Democratic candidate Joe Biden, 22% for Republican Candidate Donald Trump and 6% undecided. Ads are floating on TV and it is obvious Howdy Modi in Huston and Namaste Trump in Ahmedabad have made no impact. This is another issue if any foreign head of state should openly take sides in another country's politics.

What could be the reason for this? The most important reason is that the Republican Party and Trump government in particular are not in favor of foreigners taking over the jobs of the locals. There can be no dispute about this.

The second and disturbing reason is, Trump government appears to be favoring the majority of whites. 60% of the American population is white and 72% if Hispanic whites are also included. All others fall under the minority. Being in a minority is not good in any country. It is a matter of great satisfaction that most Indians are highly qualified professions-doctors, engineers, teachers, and all. Still, time and again, some hindrances are created.

Obviously, the minority will support the party whom they trust for their interests, and Democratic Party fills the bill, largely.

The funny thing is the same Indians, particularly, BJP supporters, being in majority in India, almost 80%, behave in the same way in India as whites behave in America. They support in India, what they oppose in America.

This looks quite natural. Nothing can be done. It goes on as ever. Be it America, India, Pakistan, Africa, Mexico, or for that matter any country majority will rule over the minority. Being in the majority gives not only the feeling of security but of superiority also.

    LONG LIVE UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD !!

Hariji evr heard of an organization called Indians for Trump? It mobilizes Indian support for the incumbent. The Hindu right in India is all for Trump. A lunatic fringe among them eve feeds cake to Trump cutouts on his birthday They view him as the knight in shining armour against Islamic radicals. And Trump is one person who doesn't give a damn about what happens in the rest of the world unless it impacts US interests.

Absolutely! And in 2016 election there was one gentleman whose daughter was Miss India, canvasing for Trump. After election he was no where to be seen.
There is nothing wrong in Making America/India great but saying again is rather ignoring the efforts of the leaders of the past. The worst is polarisation.
