    Me too Blondie,
    I am going to India next Thursday. Can;t wait to spend time with my parents and enjoy seeing my 19 month old daughter play with her grandparents. Oh gosh, I can't wait for next Thursday rather Friday night after I land and meet my family. On another note, I'm pregnant with my second baby also so I am really hoping to get maha pampered on this trip. :)

    I just read the beautiful poems by Nivedi, Karuth, Shanvy and Blondie.

    I'm so damn impressed by all of you!! You guys certainly are very talented. To be able to pour emotions in so few words...wow!!

    Nivedi and Karuth - I had no idea I was in the company of such artistic and talented people when we last met!!

    Hoping to see more of such beautiful works (even though these made me emotional)...

    love,
    Aarushi

    Dear Nivedi, Thank u very much for starting the thread. It is a lovely poem. U have brought out the feelings of a mother who has given her daughter into the wrong hands. mother is the one who cherishes her daughter at every step when she grows up and hers is the only heart that bleeds when she knows that her daughter is suffering. A mother always want to take away the pains of the daughter. She prays to god to give all the problems to her instead of the daughter. It is a great poem.

    Dear Karuth, That was really wonderful. Nice reply to the mother. U have clearly stated that no one can change the destiny.

    Dear Blondie, Your poem too is very nice. It made me cry.

    Dear Shanthi, U r turning out to be a very good writer. Don't call ur writings as scribblings. They r just great. It will definitely move many hearts. The relationships that we always nourish are that of a mother and a daughter and u have brought them both in the poem very beautifully. It is really touching

    Great job. Keep it up friends.

    SAFELY HOME

    I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
    Oh, so happy and so bright!
    There is perfect joy and beauty
    In this everlasting light.

    All the pain and grief is over,
    Every restless tossing passed;
    I am now at peace forever,
    Safely home in Heaven at last.

    Did you wonder I so calmly
    Trod the valley of the shade?
    Oh! But God's love illumined
    Every dark and fearful glade.

    And He came Himself to meet me
    In that way so hard to tread;
    And with God's arm to lean on,
    Could I have one doubt or dread?

    Then you must not grieve so sorely,
    For I love you dearly still:
    Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
    Pray to trust our God's Will.

    There is work still waiting for you,
    So you must not idly stand;
    Do it now, while life remaineth--
    You shall rest in land called "HEAVEN"

    When that work is all completed,
    He will gently call you Home;
    Oh, the pleasure of that meeting,
    Oh, the joy to see you come!

    My small contribution to the GRIEVED SOULS.
    PAM.

    Dear Nivedi, your poem touched my heart. I pray 2 God that He must shower all the daughters with His love and help them getting good in laws, and we as a parents make them capable with good education, values etc. so they can face any problems.
