I think it's more like AK left as CM to become PM. If he wanted to serve people from parliament there was no need to contest from varanasi. He could have won from Delhi and would have been in parliament had he done that. It was that ego to defeat Modi that took him to Varanasi, not the will to server people, IMO.

Checks are more sophisticated. A trained taxman should still have a nose for money trails.

Why should AK condemn midnight raid on that African Women. Infact they did what no one would dare do such a thing.. That area is so bad that prostitution, drug selling happens in day light in view of everyone. Police is hand glows with them. These African women are here in India only for this purpose. the residents are fed up of all this, and they have nobody to help them. I don't know why people want to be blind and deaf inspite of knowing all these things. Should'nt you guys be supporting Somnath for what he did? Very sad !

1 more thing to add,If Ak can do so much to the incoming donations just imagine what Can BJP and Modi nd co. can do. Just saying.

 

I think they all will do all they can, incl everybody. It's naive to think one of them will do less. May be the opportunity was less..... so far.

It's important to look beyond this. We need to grow despite this. Better to focus on development while keeping an eye on corruption.

Accountants can keep books, they can not bring the business in, to put it simply. If your business is only focused on clean books and no business you can not put food on the table.

Whats the point of giving junk food, rather than giving good healthy food. What if AK can do that. We have not seen him much in power yet, whereas we have seen BJP, Modi and congress in power. Both have given more to rich people than to the poor. BJP should have a check point.

BJP has not done anything for 2G scam, or Coal gate, Vadra, black money. Nothing. He has just made India a Manufacturing hub. Thats what british did. Make Indians slog and make finished goods for western people. Left overs and scrap will remain in India.

 

Oh his name is Somnath? He couldn't lodge a police complaint? You think Home minister can not order investigation? A sting job? He has to take a mob and attack them in the middle of the night? You like to live in a pace like that? where a govt minsiter at his will can come to your home with a mob and harass you? Why do you assume that it won't be people like you and me? That's why there is law and due process. The day people will vote for vigilante justice is the day they will have taliban and ISIS like entities rule over them.

 

Hello! Police is in hand in gloves with these thuds!. They get commission from them. And he wanted to do the raid without giving info, otherwise they know how to escape. Oh men its sad that you guys act as if you know nothing. Infact people should do more of such raids, and bring all such people to public eye.

Hello for your kindest information, They did not have majority and not ruling party at the center. And don't you know Delhi is a union territory and they don't have control over the police. That's really very sad.

 

Political contributions is world wide issue. It is much prevalent even in US. A US president election is a game of billions of dollars.
Everyone knows it and everyone does it. But AK is proclaiming that he is not doing it and he is different. That is the problem. Do you really buy that AK does not know the people who are donating 2 crores to his party? Do you really buy that anyone donating 2 crores to any party is doing it without any personal interest? This is hypocrisy. Just having a website and listing some names doesn't make it honest. The expenses are much higher than the amount listed on the website. The problem is not that others are doing it, the problem is that he is creating a sham to make people believe that he is different when he is not.

PS: I am not supporting any political parties in India or in US. But my views are more in line with congress in India and Democrats in US, just because i don't like the extreme views of BJP or Republicans.
