Vitamin C is very important for immunity power. Vitamin C is rich in Lemon, Capsicum, Orange and other citrus fruits.

Ginger + Honey taken everyday boost immunity power

4 to 5 Tulsi leaves everyday in empty stomach in the morning. If coupled with pepper can prevent cold

Tender Neem leaves chewed & swallwed in empty stomach (not so bitter)

Cissus quadrangularis / pirandai (tamil) / Hadjot (hindi) - you can make chutney (thogayal/chammandhi) or you may finely chop and fry in ghee, mix with plain hot white rice and have twice or thrice a week.

Small Onion, Garlic if taken in empty stomach in the morning also helps boost immunity. You may include them in your diet frequently.

Hibiscus tea or chewing the buds helps.

Vegetables like Raddish, cabbage, ladies finger also helps in this process.

Herbs like Hybanthus / Hump Back Flower / Spade flower / Oridazh Thamarai (tamil) , Sida plant (athi bala) are also used in Indian medicine for boosting immunity power.

In short, explore and get benefitted by the goodness of nature. Including all treasure from nature's basket in various form helps us keep healthy. So put your hands into the basket and grab your boost everyday.

Good information. For immunity we have a very good home remedy:

Black cumin powder + crushed Garlic cover with unpasteurised honey mix well and keep it in a closed jar in a dark place. 1 to 2 tea spoon for adult and 1 tea spoon for kids.

The one showed in the above photo is known as 'Kalonji' in Hindi and 'Karunjeeragam' in Tamil and is available in grocery stores as well as Country medicine store (jadi bhooti). But please refer to this thread which says black cumin is different.

Fruits to include: Pomegranate, Amla(gooseberry), guava have good content of vitamin C.

Nuts: Badam - improves cognitive skills and functionality of brain. Soak overnight 3 (for adults) 2(for kids) and have in morning after peeling off the skin.

Leafy: Mint along with ginger - crush and boil in water, filter it and mix with honey, can be had in morning.
