immediate help...urine infection in kid

    hi friends,

    i need help my DD s having urine infection what food shall i give for her am giving medicine by side plz help she s 1 year and 4 months old :help

    Taking coconut water helps but not sure how much/whether you can give to your 1 year old do check with seniors

    Some of the things which you can give are below; take care to avoid giving foods which are acidic in nature.

    1. carrot soup (home made with some butter)
    2. zucchini
    3. lots and lots of water
    4. cooking with coconut oil for all her meals

    hi Srinithya,
    Also, you can include curd or buttermilk. The bacteria in curd and buttermilk prevent all infections related to urinary tract and is for all women too. If you feel the rains are high and the climate is chill(never it happens in Chennai, but..) add a pinch of turmeric powder heat the curd a little, make sure it is heated a little only. Then mix with rice and give it to the baby. It is also a good cure for cold and cough. I give this to my DD who is 1 year

    I have also heard that curd or buttermilk is good during such time.
