    Thanks Kavi. Even I am all for girls I come all girls family & its new to my DH he comes from all boys family. mmm.. "Role model" then I guess first I need to get rid of this laziness. Thanks once again ur reply felt good.

    Looks like I am pregnant

    Hi friends,

    I have missed my periods ,this is the 36th day,did a home test and turned out to be -ve.
    I am having symtoms like increase in appetite,tiredness,mood swings.
    I am really concerned about the same since I had an ectopic pregnancy which was fatal and had to get removed one of my fallopian tubes..
    Planning to meet the doc next week
    Let me know expereinced mums if these are symptoms of pregnancy and should I meet the doctor earlier than nest week

    Hi sophia,

    the early symptoms of pregnancy differ from person to person but you do have the common symptoms.are u having breast tenderness or making frequent trips to the rest room? i would suggest you to wait for few more days and repeat the Home Pregnancy test. Do it on an early morning sample of urine where it secretes more hormones.whatever the result may be visit ur doctor as planned and she'll guide u accordingly.wish u good luck !!!

    I would suggest you to talk to your nurse or doctor about your symptoms. as you had already expereinced tubal pregnancy then it looks like something alarming here. If you have not talked to the clinic then call your nurse immediately. You are already in 36th day and you don't have to wait to get your periods or wait to see your doctor next week. Ectopic pregnancies sometimes do not show positive. Your nurse might ask you to come for the HCG blood test to confirm and to see if the levels are doubling. I strongly advice you to call the clinic immediately.

    I agree with Sima. From the reading that I'd done, the symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy can be similar to a normal pregnancy. Did you mention your medical history of a prior ectopic pregnancy when you got the appt? Can they reschedule for you to come in sooner? I think they can do an ultrasound or blood test at this stage to confirm that it is not ectopic. Also be on the lookout for any abdominal/pelvic pain or bleeding. Call your doctor immediately or go to the ER if you have any pain or bleeding.

    Hi Pavarun,
    I have just fixed an appintment with the doc ,the earliest that I got is on Monday though.I have done the home preg test toobut turned out to be -ve.I would surely tell the doc about my history of ectopic preg.
