As flats there are selling like hot cakes and it seems prices there have appreciated by double in the last two years. Wondering if any of IL'ites from Tirunelveli have any idea?

I used to visit kallidai for my school vacations. very beautiful place ..we used to take bath is tamiraparani etc..old memories. I ahve a query, i am planning to visit tirunelveli this ..for offering prayers at sankaran kovil and thiruchendur. pl. let me know of some good hotels to stay..and also how do i commute to this two temples.. are they very far from junction. also are there any other tourist spots like kutralam or mani muthar near by i can visit. I am planning to be there for 4 days. any suggestions.welcome thanks, Prabha

I have been to many places in tamilnadu b'coz of father's transferable job. But the most i like was tvl.for its hotels ,temples, and the tourists spots in and around tirunelveli.My last visit there is one month back for deevali purchase in RMKV

Hi Hema Though Born in Chennai I've my roots in Palyamkottai in Tirunelveli and my hubby is from Kalakad and every around Pongal my family's presence is a must in Kalakad As it is our Kulladeviam Kovil. Hi saraswathy, thanks for reply. we visit tirunelveli often. my relatives are there. i am having soooo many sweet memories from tvl with our friends like kurukkuthurai murugankoil. we once went karungulam ,had bath in tamiraparani, krishanarajapuram temple .Have u been there? nice sculptures

Hi welcome .there are many hotels to stay like aryass , bluestar, saravana bhava. good hotels with restarurant facility.and thiruchendur an d sankarankoil are in two different directions. while going to thiruchendur u can visit two places Krishnarajapuram teple with beatiful sculptures and arunchunaikatha ayynar koil 10 kms from thiruchendur. In SKL i dont know much. if u are planning to go to courtallam visit palaruvi too.then manimutharu,nambifalls but both are in different routes
