IIFA awards have begun y'day in dubai. Amitabh Bachchan announced the beginning of 4 days IIFA awards. As it is industry award function, I hope they will give awards to deserving people and not just bought awards like Filmfare and Zee which should be better termed as Shahrukh Khan awards. Looking forward to good nominations and deserving winners in IIFA!
IIFA Awards The IIFA awards seem to be most genuine and unbiased Film Industry awards. With Amitabh Bachan opening the awards ceremony, it has attracted all media coverage to it. All big stars like Shahrukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherjee, ABhishek Bachan, Karan Johar are seen in IIFA.
FIFA Awards I saw the awards highlights. Abhishek Bachan well deservingly received the BEST supporting actor role in the movie Sarkar in which his father Amitabh Bachan played politician on lines of Baal Thakrey of Mumbai. Another surprise award was of Javed Jafrey who also well deservingly received for his comedy role in Salaam Namaste. His "Ekjhactly" is on everybody's lips and his broken english brought smiles
