If you're spending $0 on TV, how do you watch your favorite shows and series?

We don't have cable TV and we don't pay for any subscription to watch our favorite tv.

We watch indian TV through Youtube, TechSatish.net (tamil) and US shows through Hulu.

If any of you are in my situation (zero $$ spending on TV), how do you watch your favorite channels? Where to do watch them? Can you provide me the website names?

Is Hulu is more like netflix? 8$ subscription..

On laptop itself Anusha. And I also see Youku for movies.

And I missed that we have comcast with free HBO for 6 months and other english channels, so sometimes watch TV too, it costs us 47$ per month.

Anusha,
Hulu plus is a paid subscription. Hulu is a free subscription.

I watch only one tamil serial (Saravanan Meenakshi) which I got hooked up when I was idle for a week.

Most of the tamil shows I like are Vijay TV shows. Vijay TV has a channel in YouTube and they upload their shows and serials in their page. I watch my favorite shows from there.

I follow few English series and I watch them in Hulu.

We have a dedicated laptop that is connected to the TV. So, we watch everything from the TV itself.

Uma..currently we are using dishworld, expensive and looking for alternatives
we dont hv a dedicated laptop, and changing shows is the pain part..
and both of us keep changing channels badly

I also love many of the Vijay TV shows.. recently Office serial has been started.. looking fwd to it
SMeenakshi was good few months back, with Kuili leading comedy track
now a days dragging bit, check it once a week or so
yes the YT channel is good.. sometimes clarity is not good

we used watchsuntv package prevsly, was good.. some streaming prblms
Will check out the Hulu series!
