    here i am giving soem more.,

    16..silver lining — things improve in the end ( I can't make it silver color)
    Ex: every cloud has a silver lining — things improve in the end

    17.red letter day — a special day to remember

    18..out of the blue-- total uncepectedely (already Malini gave this word)

    19.brown study — deep in thought sitting in a small hut

    20.quite a bit of brown — known less colourfully as rust.

    Couple from me,

    To be browned off means to be bored, fed up or disheartened.
    e.g. Jason is browned off with his job.

    Tickled Pink- to say someone is tickled pink means they are extremely amused or pleased.
    eg. My mother was tickled pink that you visited her when you were in town.

    The opposite of green thumb is a "brown thumb"
    A "brown noser" is a person who ingratiates himself by a deliberate effort (used in a derogatory manner)
    A "blue print" serves as a model or provides guidance
    A "black box" is anything that has mysterious or unknown internal functions or mechanisms
    "Blue book" can be either a register especially of socially prominent persons or a book of specialized information often published under government auspices or a periodically issued price list (as of used cars-Kelly Blue Book)
    "White days" are the most fortunate days.

    White collar worker - constitutes the class of salaried employees who are sophisticated & doesn't need to wear uniforms

    White trash - poor white people

    Red alert - the final stage of alert in which enemy attack appears imminent; a state of alert brought on by impending danger

    Red eye - a cheap whiskey; the phenomenon of a subject's eyes appearing red in a color photograph taken with a flash; a late night or overnight flight

    give someone the green light


    - give permission to go ahead with a project
    We were finally given the green light to begin setting up the new project.

    paint the town red


    - go out and party and have a good time
    When my cousin came to visit us we decided to go out and paint the town red.


    pink slip


    - termination notice from a job
    I received my pink slip last week and am now looking for a new job.


    see red


    - become very angry
    He really saw red last night when I told him that I wouldn`t be coming to work today.

    yellow streak


    - cowardice in one`s character
    He has a yellow streak running down his back and is not a good person to support you if things become difficult.

    HI all
    Till now we have seen Colour Idioms.
    Let us see some clothes Idioms also now.

    ants in one`s pants
    - restlessness, nervousness
    You are moving around as if you have ants in your pants the teacher said to the little boy.

    2..at the drop of a hat
    - without waiting, immediately, promptly
    He will stop working and help you at the drop of a hat if you ask him politely.

    birthday suit

    - complete nakedness
    The little boy was running around the picnic site in his birthday suit.

    Here r some cloths idioms that I wanna share ....

    "Below the belt."
    For example:
    "I think it was a bit below the belt when he lied to her."

    Explanation: To do something in an unfair or cowardly way.


    Wolf in sheep's clothing."
    For example:
    "I don't trust him, I think he's a wolf in sheep's clothing."

    Explanation: To pretend to be harmless when your really dangerous.


    Mutton dressed as lamb."
    For example:
    "In her mini skirt and short tank top, she looked like mutton dressed as lamb."

    Explanation: To be dressed too young for your age.
