Hi all, I am basically a textile graduate finished my Masters in London...I want to start textile import/export business in USA.. wid my strong knowledge...coz i beleive myself...can anyone give me an idea how to start...and anyone know any textile people here...thank you

We are all here to help you. We all want to see women succeed in their ventures. Give us more info, like - who would be your clients, whom do you want to target your sales to, where would you get the material from, etc etc. I am not very familiar with the textile business but I will try and help as much as I can. BTW, I am in sunny California too
hi i was just wondering maybe if we could start a business related to sari blouse stitching. I live in the Usa and there is absolutely nowhere here to stitch your sari, and its heavily populated with indians. SO was wondering about a small business like that. -jehana

hi dear I have seen your mail. Iam working for sewing machines company and have more contact of garment (trouser, shirts, skurt, children garments etc.,) If you think which type of garment is at present in the country which you are staying, and also contact some of our shoping center and speak to them and take a sample of a garment. I can find a Garment which can stitch and can give u the costing you have to work accordingly. Pls check and reply. Tks/Regards Prabha
