I Want To Know More About Classical Dance For Kids...

    Hi all,

    My kid is going for a combo of ballet/Bollywood/classical..

    They are enjoying it a lot
    But should I put them seperately in classical dance?

    Also,what do I look for in a good dance teacher?does she need to teach theory?

    Classical dance is a long beautiful journey.

    Once your kid start to learn it need daily 1 or 2 hour practice. Then comes performance in stage.

    Does your teacher and her students actively doing programs ? Like in temple or any cultural activities. In US most of the festive season I have seen different organization programs.

    If so depending on the capacity of the kid she will get more chances to participate.

    Sometime stage performance cost extra.

    Dedication from both teacher as well as student is important. Give your kid atleast 6 months time and see how she is progressing or if you need to switch to some thing else.
